“It is time to end gender discrimination and prioritize gender equality. Most of the women are still being exploited worldwide. This is truly horrifying even in modern times. The United Nations has also called for a global movement for accelerating gender equality. We celebrate International Women's Day every year. Every time we continue to tell about gender equality and women's achievements. But if it is to be effective, the mood and perspective of women should change and they should involve in creating awareness among underprivileged”, opined Manjula V. Kadetotad, Senior Program Manager, Synopsis. She was speaking at the inauguration of the International Women's Day celebration held in collaboration with the Nitte Meenakshi Technical College and The Institution of Telecommunication Engineers(IETE), Bangalore Centre |
