ISF (IETE Students Forum)
The IETE Students Forum (ISF) serves as a vibrant platform for students in electronics, telecommunications, and related fields to enhance their technical knowledge and professional development. ISFs organize diverse activities including technical workshops on topics like Arduino, robotics, and machine learning; seminars and symposia featuring industry experts; project exhibitions; coding competitions; and technical paper contests. Recent events include a Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development seminar held in July 2024, workshops on Machine Learning using MATLAB, and various technical fests like “Yantralaya” and “Esayoga.” ISFs also facilitate technical visits to R&D laboratories and industries, provide career guidance through resume-building workshops and mock interviews, and offer networking opportunities with professionals. Students benefit from reduced registration fees for IETE technical programs, access to IETE technical publications, and priority for publishing papers in the Journal of Education. The forum encourages teamwork and self-reliance among student members while serving as a catalyst for their overall growth in technical and professional skills.
